Crescent Academy International's Montessori Preschool
Welcome to the Crescent Montessori Program. Our school's Tarbiyah Curriculum is based upon a holistic approach to develop 'A Whole Child'; mind, body, and spirit. It aims at translating Islamic values into practice that enable the students to live Islam.
Montessori and Tarbiyah both have the same vision and mission of peace education. The adults in a Montessori environment are first the peacemakers, and then the teachers. They offer an unconditional love and excellent role modeling to our students promoting self direction, higher order thinking, character education, and service to others. They practice the art of observation in order to 'follow the child', and to engage in a form of partnership in the learning process.
In fact, it is said about a well run Montessori program that one does not even notice the educator in the midst of the students. We invite you as a part of our Crescent family to venture out on the experiences together.
