COVID-19 Resources & Updates
Crescent Academy International is committed to protecting the health and safety of our students, families, staff and school community. In accordance with best practices and with everyone's well-being in mind, the school developed a comprehensive COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan, in cooperation with key stakeholders in the Crescent community.
The plan covers policies and practices in the face of COVID-19 ranging from family-selected learning, academic programming and enrichment to health and safety measures and social distancing/campus density. It also includes a pandemic planning matrix and a COVID-19 preparedness contract to ensure the school community is aligned in addressing the impact of the pandemic while adhering to Crescent’s mission and vision.
We greatly appreciate the cooperation and understanding of our students, parents, staff and others in the community as we manage through these challenging circumstances.
In short, for our staff and in-person learners our community’s values, or ways of being in response to COVID-19 are: mask up, wash up, cover up, space out and air out. We, as a school community, are committed to the wearing of masks, frequent sanitizing of our building, encouragement of good personal and communal hygiene, and following recommended guidelines for social distancing and individual spacing.
In addition, we require all staff and students to complete a daily health screening through the VOLO software app, which assists our school in monitoring individual health.
