Crescent Academy International welcomed a new principal, Hania Sabri, at the start of the 2024-25 school year.

Sr. Hania has served as teacher and mentor for various K-8 schools and classrooms, in Lebanon and southeast Michigan, since 1995. For the past 19 years, she has taught a variety of grade levels and subjects at Crescent, and has had a longstanding role onboarding new CAI students and families. Her three sons are proud Crescent graduates. 

“CAI has positively influenced my life and my family’s life in so many ways and for so many years,” she said. “I have a strong belief and a profound sense of commitment to Crescent’s vision and mission in raising young minds, hearts and beings. I am enthusiastic about serving the Crescent community and applying the knowledge and skills I have gained over the years, insha’ Allah.”

Sr. Hania has a master’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s degree in Teaching English Language and its Literatures from The Lebanese University. She holds a Michigan professional teaching certificate.
